Tot mai mul\u021bi adolescen\u021bi ajung la \u0219coal\u0103 obosi\u021bi, adorm la ore, nu se pot concentra \u0219i au impresia c\u0103 \u201enu mai \u021bin minte nimic\u201d. De multe ori vina este pus\u0103 pe telefon, pe profesori sau pe programa \u0219colar\u0103, \u00eens\u0103 cauza principal\u0103 este una simpl\u0103 \u0219i ignorat\u0103: nu dorm suficient.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e2t ar trebui s\u0103 doarm\u0103 un adolescent?<\/p>\n<p>Speciali\u0219tii consider\u0103 c\u0103 un adolescent are nevoie, \u00een medie, de 8\u201310 ore de somn pe noapte. \u00cen realitate \u00eens\u0103, mul\u021bi elevi dorm doar 5\u20136 ore. Programul devine aproape obi\u0219nuit: teme, telefon, re\u021bele sociale, jocuri sau seriale p\u00e2n\u0103 t\u00e2rziu, apoi trezirea la ora 6:30 pentru \u0219coal\u0103. Organismul nu are timp s\u0103 se refac\u0103, iar creierul r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00eentr-o stare de oboseal\u0103 permanent\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Problema este agravat\u0103 de un fenomen biologic specific v\u00e2rstei: la adolescen\u021bi, \u201eceasul biologic\u201d se modific\u0103. Ei adorm mai greu seara \u0219i se trezesc mai dificil diminea\u021ba. Cu alte cuvinte, nu este lene \u2014 este o schimbare natural\u0103 a organismului.<\/p>\n<p>Ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een creier c\u00e2nd dormim?<\/p>\n<p>Somnul nu este o perioad\u0103 \u201epierdut\u0103\u201d. Dimpotriv\u0103, este momentul \u00een care creierul lucreaz\u0103 cel mai intens pentru \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare. \u00cen timpul nop\u021bii au loc trei procese esen\u021biale:<\/p>\n<p>Fixarea informa\u021biilor \u2013 lec\u021biile \u00eenv\u0103\u021bate ziua sunt transformate \u00een memorie de lung\u0103 durat\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Cur\u0103\u021barea creierului de oboseal\u0103 mental\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Refacerea capacit\u0103\u021bii de concentrare.<\/p>\n<p>Practic, elevul nu \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 doar c\u00e2nd cite\u0219te lec\u021bia, ci mai ales c\u00e2nd doarme dup\u0103 ce a \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat-o.<\/p>\n<p>Dac\u0103 somnul este insuficient, informa\u021biile r\u0103m\u00e2n superficiale \u0219i se pierd rapid. De aceea apare situa\u021bia foarte cunoscut\u0103: \u201eam \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat asear\u0103 \u0219i azi nu mai \u0219tiu nimic\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Consecin\u021bele lipsei de somn asupra \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103rii<\/p>\n<p>Lipsa somnului afecteaz\u0103 direct performan\u021ba \u0219colar\u0103, uneori mai mult dec\u00e2t lipsa studiului.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sc\u0103derea aten\u021biei<br \/>\nElevul nu mai poate urm\u0103ri explica\u021biile profesorului. Se pierde u\u0219or, viseaz\u0103 cu ochii deschi\u0219i \u0219i nu poate r\u0103m\u00e2ne concentrat mai mult de c\u00e2teva minute.<\/li>\n<li>Probleme de memorie<br \/>\nCreierul obosit nu mai poate re\u021bine informa\u021bii noi. Lec\u021biile devin greu de \u00een\u021beles, iar memorarea este aproape imposibil\u0103.<\/li>\n<li>G\u00e2ndire lent\u0103<br \/>\nUn adolescent lipsit de somn r\u0103spunde mai greu la \u00eentreb\u0103ri, are nevoie de mai mult timp pentru exerci\u021bii \u0219i face gre\u0219eli simple, chiar dac\u0103 \u0219tie materia.<\/li>\n<li>Note mai mici<br \/>\nStudiile arat\u0103 c\u0103 elevii care dorm mai pu\u021bin de 7 ore au rezultate \u0219colare semnificativ mai slabe dec\u00e2t cei care dorm suficient.<\/li>\n<li>Lipsa motiva\u021biei<br \/>\nOboseala constant\u0103 produce senza\u021bia de apatie. Elevul nu mai are chef de nimic: nici de teme, nici de \u0219coal\u0103, nici de activit\u0103\u021bi preferate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Efecte asupra st\u0103rii emo\u021bionale<\/p>\n<p>Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 rezultate slabe, apar \u0219i efecte psihologice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>iritabilitate<\/li>\n<li>nervozitate<\/li>\n<li>anxietate<\/li>\n<li>dificult\u0103\u021bi de rela\u021bionare<\/li>\n<li>risc crescut de depresie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mul\u021bi elevi considera\u021bi \u201eneinteresa\u021bi\u201d sau \u201eindisciplina\u021bi\u201d sunt, de fapt, foarte obosi\u021bi.<\/p>\n<p>Telefonul \u2013 principalul vinovat<\/p>\n<p>Principalul factor al lipsei de somn nu este \u0219coala, ci utilizarea ecranelor seara. Lumina albastr\u0103 emis\u0103 de telefon, tablet\u0103 sau laptop blocheaz\u0103 secre\u021bia de melatonin\u0103 \u2014 hormonul somnului. Creierul prime\u0219te mesajul c\u0103 este \u00eenc\u0103 zi, iar adormirea se \u00eent\u00e2rzie chiar \u0219i cu 1\u20132 ore.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen plus, re\u021belele sociale men\u021bin creierul activ emo\u021bional: mesaje, notific\u0103ri, videoclipuri scurte. Creierul nu mai intr\u0103 \u00een starea de relaxare necesar\u0103 somnului.<\/p>\n<p>Cum poate fi rezolvat\u0103 problema?<\/p>\n<p>Nu este nevoie de schimb\u0103ri radicale, ci de c\u00e2teva obiceiuri simple:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>oprirea telefonului cu cel pu\u021bin 30\u201360 de minute \u00eenainte de culcare<\/li>\n<li>program de somn relativ constant<\/li>\n<li>evitarea energizantelor seara<\/li>\n<li>aerisirea camerei \u00eenainte de somn<\/li>\n<li>evitarea \u00eenv\u0103\u021batului dup\u0103 miezul nop\u021bii<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important: a \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba p\u00e2n\u0103 la ora 1 noaptea este mai pu\u021bin eficient dec\u00e2t a dormi \u0219i a repeta diminea\u021ba.<\/p>\n<p>Concluzie<\/p>\n<p>Somnul nu este un lux \u0219i nici timp pierdut, ci o condi\u021bie esen\u021bial\u0103 pentru \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare. Un creier odihnit \u00een\u021belege mai repede, memoreaz\u0103 mai bine \u0219i face fa\u021b\u0103 stresului \u0219colar.
